The Sharron Kelley Team brings you the end of the year reports for 2010. As we move into 2011 buyers and sellers can be optimistic about the market. Buffalo Grove Real Estate continued to remain strong at the end of the year. Single Family Buffalo Grove Homes sales are up 9.2%, 213 homes have sold year to date. Buffalo Grove Townhomes and Condo sales remain the same in sales for 2009 and 2010. This is good news for sellers as the market continues to move forward and we can have a better outlook in 2011. Median sales prices for single family homes are up 3.2% while attached homes are down which can be attributed to the amount of short sales and foreclosures and the amount of attached homes that are on the market. Currently there are 148 detached homes on the market and 232 attached available for sale. There are 82 Buffalo Grove Short Sales and Foreclosures as well. We continue to see a steady market in this highly desired area of Buffalo Grove. Stevenson High School, local amenities and great neighborhoods continue to draw buyers from near and far to the area so we are looking forward to seeing an upswing as we begin the new year of 2011.
